Many people in the streets in Algeria today still, in several major cities of the country like Oran and Constantine, but also in Algiers, where the mobilization seems to have been at least as strong as last week.

Sign that the withdrawal of the candidacy of Abdelaziz Bouteflika and postponement of the presidential election of April 18 will not be enough to appease the anger of the street, like the previous Friday, the mobilization was not limited to the capital. Algerians have also massively mobilized in Oran, Constantine, Bejaia or Tizi-Ouzou.

In Algiers, boulevard Mohamed 5, Place de la Grande Poste, Place Maurice-Audin ... it is a human tide that invaded all afternoon the emblematic places of the capital. The slogans adapted to the announcements on Monday: " We wanted elections without Bouteflika we are left with Bouteflika and WITHOUT elections ", or "Boutef, glue that sticks very hard". Slogan also against the French president who spoke this week on the situation, with this sign " Macron take care of your" yellow vests " ".

Diverted logos and caricatures, the Algerians have once again been illustrated by their great imagination, a reflection of their anger. At the end of the day, slippages were reported in at least one district of Algiers, throwing stones against tear gas.

Throughout the day, protesters ensured that the marches remained peaceful. Calls were also made for the marchers to avoid going to the presidency of the Republic to avoid confrontation. Several videos have been circulating showing protesters greeting the riot police, video of policemen sketching a smile in contact with protesters.
