Walid Ali Al Shehhi, a 22-year-old citizen, has successfully integrated the Petroleum Engineering and Geology study into a project to locate oil or natural gas in the ground.

Al-Shehhi in Petroleum Engineering, at the University of West Virginia, found his scientific and practical interest in science. He has always been interested in scientific subjects that provide the various skills of an oil engineer such as physics, mathematics, geology, chemistry and finance, Such as chemical and mechanical engineering.

Al Shehhi, who is a student of the United States by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), went on to study a subspecialty along with petroleum engineering represented in the geology of geosciences and all the factors that occur in the earth, such as earthquakes and external factors such as erosion.

This scientific integration between two scientific disciplines contributed to the development of Al-Shehhi's conviction for his academic decision, and played a big role in linking him more, especially after touching his positive effects in the implementation of his practical projects. The most prominent of these projects is the project of locating oil or natural gas Which is one of the sources of alternative energy for oil and an important source of energy for the chemical industry, in the layers of the ground, because of the challenge of this project, after the allocation of an oil well for each student to study, and provide evidence and evidence of the reasons and findings.

Despite Al-Shehhi's commitment to scientific majors for a bachelor's degree, he continues to succeed and excel academically.

He stressed that he chose excellence as the title of his academic career, and pledged himself and his family not to be neutral about this path, which clearly outlined its features, and was guided by the leaders of the state who do not like the first place. He referred to the statement of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai «I and my people love the first place».

On the challenges that Al-Shehhi faced during his academic career in exile, he said that it was "the formation of new relationships, the difficulty of language, and the difficulties encountered in mathematics." He continued "with determination and determination, succeeded in overcoming all these obstacles."
