The Izz el-Deen al-Qassam Brigades on Saturday revealed more about the infiltration carried out by an Israeli force a few months ago in the southern Gaza Strip and confirmed that it had seized technical equipment containing "intelligence treasure" and offered a reward to any Palestinian customer who signs an Israeli force.
At a press conference in Gaza City, a spokesman for the Qassam Brigades Abu Ubaida revealed new information reached by the investigations, which lasted two months, adding that other information can not be disclosed now.
In the latest information on Operation Defensive Shield, which was carried out on November 11, Abu Ubaida said that the aim was to plant spy devices on the resistance's communications, as the Israeli Special Force had been trained in the operation for more than ten months.
He added that the commando force included 15 Israelis and infiltrated through the border fence under the guise of fog, and that the resistance was able to thwart it and revealed the operation, pointing out that the occupation used the Kerem Shalom crossing to enter the equipment and logistical supplies to the special force.
The Hamas-affiliated military wing used false identities of real families from the Gaza Strip and forged papers for a charity, and a member of the unit was heard in Gaza under the guise of an international charity.
The spokesman said that the same Israeli force carried out similar operations in the Arab regions did not specify, saying that the book gives customers in the Gaza Strip an opportunity to repent, and that each customer contributes to the solicitation of a special Israeli force will receive a reward of one million dollars as well as amnesty.
When the operation occurred last November, a group of al-Qassam Brigades clashed with the Israeli force east of Khan Yunis, killing the Israeli unit commander and injuring others. Seven Palestinian militants, one of them a commander in the Brigades, was also killed.
Al-Qassam correspondent Wael Al-Dahdouh said that the Al-Qassam Brigades wanted through its press conference to resolve the debate about some details and rumors about the operation, including the number of members of the unit.
He pointed out that the pictures and identities of the members of the Israeli force and their functions in the Israeli army and intelligence were revealed, adding that the Qassam Brigades to convey a message to the occupation that the Palestinian resistance has captured valuable treasure information on the mechanism of action of Israeli intelligence.
