The prisoners reached an agreement today evening to suspend their hunger strike in return for meeting their demands of life, notably stopping the operation of jamming devices with the cessation of the installation of new jamming devices, and the installation of public telephones in the prisoners' sections.

According to the agreement prisoners will be allowed to use the public phone three times a week, adding that the installation of telephones will begin in the sections of prisoners, and the northern cages and detention centers.

It was also agreed to transfer the prisoners from the "Damoun" detention center to another detainee and to return the sick prisoners in the "Ramleh clinic" to the old section that had been evacuated under the pretext of its rehabilitation.

Among the agreed upon the return of things to what it was before the punitive measures imposed last year on the prisoners, and reduce the total fines imposed on the prisoners during the recent confrontation.

For his part, the head of the prisoners and prisoners' affairs, Major General Kadri Abu Bakr said that the agreement came after sessions of dialogue between representatives of prisoners and the administration of prisons, continued for days in the prison, "Raymond."

Abu Bakr said during his visit to the liberated prisoner Omar Barghouthi, "Abu Assif" in the village of Cooper, that the prisoners declared this afternoon to stop all their escalatory steps against the administration of Israeli prisons starting this evening, including the hunger strike.
