Ahmed bin Saif Al-Hinai-Muscat

On one of Muscat's warmer days of 2003 and before sunset, the sight of Mohsen Al-Lawati, a foreign woman running on the beach of Al-Azaiba, was accompanied by her supportive dog, and the appeal of the scene was further enhanced by the ongoing dialogue. Mohsen discovered another world he had not noticed before.

This page was the beginning of a book underlining the improvement of his character in this relationship with dogs, which led to the acquisition of his dog the first few days, burning inside the language of other global communication, and discovered that the dog is the fastest animal familiar and interactive, and ever since was true.

In 2008, Mohsen was seen from the window of the plane into the outer space of the Italian capital of Rome, and in a spirit of adventure mixed with hope - to the first encounter, driven by passion and enthusiasm away from any material calculations.

After a successful journey, he was locked to his home with a lot of love and joy. In his small note, he recorded the name of the first dog he bought from outside Oman, Italy's most expensive dog after winning first place in a world championship.

Muhsin comes out on the morning of his days - especially the time of holidays - accompanied by more than sixty dogs, collected from around the world, especially the strains of the German "Schirmer", which depends on him in winning the competitions in which he participates.

A loving hobby
This hobby has turned into a love that Mohsen is not able to get rid of, but he finds in it his forgetfulness and the light of his eyes. For him, the dogs have a more beautiful life than he thought.

His hobby was to import the puppies of the winning breeds in every international competition with a high appreciation of any value, to be nurtured and cared for, so that her family would remain in the Sultanate and produce a distinguished breed that would make the eyes of the world turn to her and produce what he wanted.

In addition to the German and Italian dogs, Mohsen captures exciting species of Russian combat dogs, as well as rare South African species, other dogs living in the midst of snow, and ancient strains of America, Argentina, the Canary Islands and others.

Despite the strangeness of this hobby to the Gulf communities, Mohsen has not been subjected to great harassment in his practice. He lives in the family of an open and understanding family based on his permanent travel and life throughout Europe and Latin America. He is also encouraged, supported and supported by those around him. Everyone has it.

He noted that he had a strong attachment to dogs and his precise choice of ideal specifications, especially since he owned different factions of known breeds and enjoyed distinctive features that could achieve exciting results in international competitions. They referred him to transforming this hobby into participation in international competitions specialized in this field.

International competitions
His colleagues' advice coincided with the passion of the soul, and the sight of raising the Omani flag in those forums in his mind, especially as the Sultanate is achieving advanced positions in horse and camel competitions, so that the dogs do not share.

When he took part in the first international contest, fear and dread dominated him, and he thought he would not get a better position than the X that seemed like a dream he was seeking.

But his dogs did not disappoint him and achieved the first positions of the first championship, and from the day is no longer empty of competitions, and win the championships in various countries of the world, perhaps the last week, the first five places in Bahrain, and the first three centers on Saturday in Kuwait .

World championships are focused on certain criteria in the assessment, including offspring, dynasties, aesthetics, field jogging, posture, walking, responsiveness and intelligence. The winning dogs are often offered up to 250,000 euros per dog, but they refuse to sell because they are hobbyists. The intimate and emotional dimension between him and the dogs makes him feel part of his own family that he will not overdo.

Over the past few years, Mohsen Al-Lawati has been able to export puppies with long-standing breeds to various parts of the world, especially to European countries, countries of the Middle East and, to a lesser extent, to the Gulf States.

This hobby has also moved to the sons of his brothers who compete among themselves to follow his footsteps, and in his conviction this is no longer just a hobby, it has become a lifestyle today, does not imagine that he can live without his virtual family, which owes him a lot of love and loyalty.
