Three Costarmoricans were decorated in the National Order of Merit.
The Official Journal published the list of soldiers promoted to the National Order of Merit on November 1st. A Costarmorican gendarme is included. This is the captain Isabelle Riquet, No. 2 at the gendarmerie company of Saint-Brieuc. She is promoted to the rank of knight after thirty-five years of service.
Two operational Navy reservists are also promoted to Knights of the National Order of Merit: Brigitte Herviou and Michel Lecant, both principal masters. The Loudéacien was an instructor in marine military preparation, at the college Le Braz, in Saint-Brieuc; Brigitte Herviou succeeded him in 2015.
