Six nations including Midwest, Nebraska, South Dakota, Iowa, Kansas, Wisconsin and Minnesota have declared a state of emergency by flood damage as a "bomb cyclone" in winter weather, CNN / NBC reported.

A bomb cyclone is a cyclone storm where arctic and humid air meet and is associated with sudden temperature increases.

Due to the storm cyclone, snow and ice are rapidly melting in the northern part of the United States, and winter flood damage is continuing.

Strong winds accompanied by heavy rain are blowing, and the snow melts down, raising the river and river level, and raising the damage.

In the state of Nebraska, one resident was swept away by rapids, causing casualties, and part of the highway was closed by water.

Governor Tony Evers of Wisconsin has declared an emergency, saying the river's water level is rising tremendously because of the rapidly melting snow.

The Iowa State Guard forces are working on flood disaster prevention.

NBC reported that the number of people affected directly or indirectly by the flood caused by the bomb cyclone is about 74 million people.
