Gevorg Avetisyan, a resident of Yekaterinburg, who saved three children from a burning house in January, was evicted from an apartment. A citizen of Armenia lived with his wife Tatyana and five daughters in a semi-detached house. Now the family is forced to rent a house.
Eviction
According to the press service of the administration of Yekaterinburg, Avetisyan was evicted from the apartment by a court decision.
“In March 2018, the Leninsky District Prosecutor’s Office received a collective appeal from citizens registered in this house about possible violation of federal legislation regarding illegal residence without legal documents,” said Anatoly Karmanov, chief specialist of the information and analytical department of the administration.
During the inspection of the prosecutor's office, it turned out that in 1975 the management of the Sverdlesmash plant issued the house to Tatiana's grandfather. Subsequently, other members of a large family moved into it, including Tatiana with her husband and children, who did not formalize this fact. Over time, both apartments were included in the register of municipal property of the city of Yekaterinburg. In July 2018, Tatyana Avetisyan filed an application for the provision of this dwelling to her under a social rent agreement. However, the woman was denied.
“Assistance in obtaining housing is possible only within the framework of current legislation. The Avetisyan family has no right to this, since Tatyana’s husband does not have Russian citizenship, ”the press service reported.
In addition, it turned out that, according to the federal cadastre and cartography service, Tatyana Avetisyan owns a residential building with a total area of 46.4 sq. M. m. in the Irkutsk region.
As RT Gevorg Avetisyan explained, family members purchased this house with funds from the maternity capital. However, they could not live in it, because the state of the building left much to be desired, and the family had to return to Yekaterinburg.
“Now, if they buy it for 80 thousand, it will be luck, but nobody needs it,” the man said.
Currently, the family lives in a rented apartment, which was not easy to find.
“We could not divide the family, and my wife needs help. It was difficult to find an apartment - not every owner was satisfied that we had five children. As a result, now we are barely making ends meet. I work on a tire that they want to close. The fact is that it is illegal, since I am not a citizen of the Russian Federation and I do not pay taxes, ”says Avetisyan.
Earlier, the man applied for citizenship, but he was asked to wait a year - the man had a conviction canceled. According to Avetisyan, he was convicted of petty bribe.
The court ordered him to pay 120 thousand rubles, which he did. However, for some reason, the migrant did not turn back to the UFMS. After the heroic deed, Gevorg was promised to assist in obtaining citizenship.
Saved from fire
In late January, Gevorg Avetisyan and his wife drove by car past a burning house in the Gypsy village and through the window of the building saw that there was someone inside. He ran out, broke glass with bricks and pulled out three children from a fire. Firefighters commemorated Gevorg’s heroic deed, while the regional Emergencies Ministry awarded him a certificate and a fire extinguisher. Also his act was noted and encouraged by the consul of Armenia and the priest of the Armenian church.
According to Gevorg, after the local media told about his actions, he was approached by representatives of the regional department of the Federal Migration Service and told that they would assist in obtaining Russian citizenship. The man has already collected all the documents, but the design is suspended.
The fact is that by the time Gevorg became the person involved in the criminal case under part 3 of art. 111 of the Criminal Code "intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm by a group of persons by prior agreement".
Criminal case
As the man said, the conflict with the husband of his wife's sister Murad Ginosyan occurred in September. Ginosyan lives in the apartment next to Avetisyan.

According to his version of events, that day he was returning home with friends and near the house he met Ginosyan, who pounced on him with his fists. According to Gevorg, at this moment what was happening was filmed on the phone by the wife of the assailant Natalya.
She subsequently called an ambulance. Ginosyan had a broken tooth, a damaged jaw, a broken rib that pierced the lung.
According to Ginosyan, everything was different. According to him, Gevorg first turned off the lights in the house, then stole the surveillance cameras and allegedly pierced the wheels of the car. Subsequently, he came with friends to the house where they began to drink alcohol.
“He knew that he could not cope alone, so he called his friends and planned everything in advance. When I came and asked them to be quiet, they attacked me, ”said RT Ginosyan.
Court
The first court hearing on the case took place on February 26. Due to the fact that not all participants of the process appeared in court, it was postponed to March 28. Gevorg is confident that all charges will be dropped from him, since this is supposedly not the first such provocation by Ginosyan.
“They constantly go to court, videotape and provoke. Previously, he beat his wife and claimed that I did it. They took the beatings, sued them, but a forensic medical examination showed that it was not me. An acquittal was pronounced, ”Avetisyan said.
According to the man, he knew that this was another provocation, and he did not deliberately hit Ginosyan with strong blows. In addition, according to Avetisyan, he has evidence of his innocence.
In turn, Natalia Ginosyan told RT that Avetisyan is the biological father of only her sister's three daughters.

“Tatiana specifically wrote him down in all documents, like a father, so that at that time he got off with a bribe with a fine. But she did it illegally, since both fathers of the first daughters did not refuse paternity. They specifically do this - for every argument they say that they have five children, ”the woman said.
According to Ginosyan, she is worried about her sister and her children, since Avetisyan has a great influence over them and does not allow her wife and children to communicate with relatives.
“In 2017, my sister wanted to divorce him, as he raised his hand to her and the girls, and also threatened her with a knife. When she was not at home, he set fire to the house and did not let anyone to extinguish. He said that he wants the best, and so they will be given housing as fire victims. The house was extinguished, the administration forced them to make repairs. Sister came back to him. I have nothing against her, and he is a terrible person, ”says Natalia.
According to the woman, even before her marriage with Tatiana, Avetisyan was allegedly deported from Russia. She claims that at that time he wore the name Sargasyan, but the man allegedly changed it with a fake marriage and returned to Russia.
According to media reports, the mayor of Yekaterinburg Alexander Vysokinsky decided to sort out the situation with the eviction of Gevorg Avetisyan.
