Lyudmila Alekseeva, a member of the Council under the President of Russia for Human Rights, Chairman of the Moscow Helsinki Group, died at the age of 92. She has devoted more than 50 years to advocacy. In 2017, Lyudmila Alekseeva received the State Prize “Outstanding Achievements in the Field of Human Rights Activities”.
