The Group welcomes the recruitment of nationals wishing to join its team as part of its strategic plan for Emiratisation, noting that the group currently includes 335 citizens, the largest hotel group in the country employing nationals.

She stressed the Group's keenness to raise the rates of Emiratisation in its various hotels and departments, in order to ensure the presence of the citizen component in different categories of jobs, indicating its readiness to employ the largest number of citizens wishing to work.

She added that the group receives and qualifies them to work through training courses, and they are employed in jobs that suit their expertise and competencies in operations management, marketing, customer service, institutional communication, security, kitchen,

"The group has three rehabilitation programs based on the degree of education and experience. The first is a special program for young high school graduates, the administrative program for university graduates and a cadre program that qualifies qualified professionals for leadership positions within the group.

She pointed out that «Jumeirah» has a plan for the resettlement of leadership positions, through the attraction of competencies, and the rehabilitation and development of civil servants working, to scale in the career ladder in various departments and disciplines, to acquire the necessary experience and upgrade their tasks within the group.

She explained that the program of leaders who is working to qualify citizens to take leadership positions in the group, will continue for five years, and this year will witness the graduation of the first batch of leading citizens.

The group has a scholarship program for citizens wishing to join its Emirates Hospitality Management Academy, which is currently studying 12 citizens.

She said that the program of scholarships for citizens in the Academy to ensure the expenses of university education with the guarantee of post-graduation in the group's hotels, noting that a large number of graduates of the Academy succeeded in their functions and reached senior positions. "Our goal is to study how to develop Emiratisation programs that will attract and train more Emirati young people in the growing hospitality and tourism sector in the UAE," said Dubois.

She explained that the group provides incentives to national employees, including an additional salary of 40% over the original salary, along with the number of working hours less than one hour of the scheduled working time for all employees.

"Through Emiratization programs, we aspire to reach the position of Director General in the UAE."

She explained that the applications of citizens wishing to work are received through several employment methods, including the website, and through the recruitment exhibitions and open days organized by the group throughout the year.
