The Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences has announced that it will collaborate with the UAE University to introduce new and innovative ideas aimed at enriching scientific research aimed at meeting the needs of the community and developing intensive training programs to promote scientific research in the health field in all emirates.
The Executive Director of the Award, Abdullah bin Suqat, received yesterday a delegation from the UAE University to discuss cooperation in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University, Dr. Charles Cairns and the Deputy Dean of the Department of Internal Medicine and Endocrinology Dr. Juma Al Kaabi, Dr. Rami Birm, Executive Assistant to Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Mahmoud Mohamed Mahmoud. He reviewed the achievements of the award over the past 20 years, and briefed the delegation on the various activities of the award and presented new and innovative ideas aimed at enriching scientific research aimed at meeting the needs of the society.
Dr. Cairns praised "the pioneering role of the award in honoring science and scientists and their appreciation, as well as the achievements of the award and the diversity of its activities, which have contributed effectively to the advancement of the medical sector and scientific research." He pointed out that «cooperation between the award and the university will have a strong return in the field of scientific research».
