The Director General of Emirates Transport, Mohammed Abdullah Al-Jarmen, stressed the importance of the institution to provide a safe, regular and sustainable school transport service, in accordance with the best standards adopted to ensure the safety of students and to achieve the State's direction and leadership in providing pioneering and distinctive services to achieve a decent life for all members of society.

He also praised the role of the strategic partners in the Ministry of Education, the Education and Knowledge Department, the Ministry of the Interior and the transport and communications authorities in the State. Al-Jarmen stressed that «Emirates Transport» pays great attention to providing the best transport services school in a comprehensive and systematic, reflecting the experience in this sector, which extends for about four decades.

He pointed out that the Foundation will provide 6000 school buses, which will take 8,000 regular routes on a daily basis to transport more than 246,000 students studying in 716 public and private schools through nine branches providing school transport services in 26 locations across the country.

Al-Jarmen pointed out that «Emirates Transport» qualified 5842 drivers and 7900 supervisors and supervisors of transportation and safety, to carry out daily school transfers. Drivers and supervisors are periodically subject to intensive training and guidance courses by the Emirates Transport Center for Training and in cooperation with a group of government agencies, Ensuring the provision of services in a manner that translates the importance of safety, as one of the most important priorities and values ​​of the institution. The areas of the approved training courses are divided into courses in civil defense, first aid, leadership art, dealing with other students and parents, how to evacuate the bus, dealing with emergencies and other fields.

For his part, the Executive Director of the Department of School Transport, Abdullah bin Suif Al Ghafli, revealed the development of the Foundation, in coordination with the Ministry of Education, a package of electronic and intelligent systems and programs, which will contribute to enhance the desired safety rates during the transfer of students from their homes and schools, The Foundation has implemented a plan to strengthen the supervision and safety of school services in various stages. During the year, the Foundation completed the installation of an integrated television circuit and a sophisticated tracking system on all school transportation fleet buses. Al-Ghafli said that the institution kept the windows of school buses at 30% according to the regulations and laws issued by the competent authorities, to ensure the student's comfort during his daily journey. On the periodic maintenance of school buses, it is mentioned that buses are subject to intensive preventive maintenance programs throughout the year, including a comprehensive program of rehabilitation maintenance for the academic year, during the summer vacation, and all school buses are subject to it. Al-Ghafli also revealed the addition of 140 new buses to the fleet School transport for the new year, to meet the expansion of the number of students and the number of schools benefiting from school transport services.
