The Court of Appeal in Ras Al Khaimah rejected the appeal of an African accused of killing his friend with "Cheol", and put Sama in his mouth to mislead the justice, against the sentence of the court of first degree to life imprisonment and forced him to pay the legal dues of the heirs of the victim, A degree of conviction for murder and innocence of attempted suicide by poison after the crime.

The details of the case are based on a complaint received by the Ras al-Khaimah police after the death of an Arab at his residence in Azabeh. Investigations and a forensic report show that the victim was beaten with a sharp machine that caused his death. The murderer deliberately placed a poison in the deceased's mouth to conceal the crime. And to mislead justice.

The coroner's report revealed that there was a criminal suspicion behind the death. It was found that the victim suffered a severe blow to a sharp machine in the head area that led to his death with sporadic blows to his body. The police arrested the accused after conducting the necessary investigations. He also admitted to putting the venom in the deceased's mouth to confuse the policemen as a suicide. The accused was referred to the Public Prosecution and then to the Criminal Court for murder and attempted suicide.

The court heard the testimony of an Asian man who said that he was sleeping in his room in the estate. The defendant entered at 1:00 am and informed him that their colleague had committed suicide and that he had to contact the owner.

"I went out to the place of our colleague and found him lying on the floor breathing slowly, as the water came out of his mouth. I saw the defendant walking behind me and taking water out of his mouth. He told me he drank the same poison."

The witness pointed out that the poison is a box of insecticide used to kill insects in the bodies of livestock, adding: «I saw my colleague uttering his last breath, and took the accused to the hospital, after informing the owner of the estate incident», pointing out that he did not watch the accused committing the crime.
