In Rwanda, in six days is the beginning of the commemorations of the genocide. Twenty-five years ago, between 800,000 and 1,000,000 Tutsis and moderate Hutus were massacred by Hutus. RFI offers throughout the week a series of reports on the genocide and its consequences. On Saturday, in Nyanza, President Paul Kagame participated in Umuganda, the obligatory community work to strengthen national unity, thereby launching the preparation of commemorations.
