Thirteen people, including a minor, suspected of committing degradations on the Arc de Triomphe on Saturday during the "yellow vests" demonstrations, were put under investigation by an examining magistrate, and three of them were placed on remand, announced Wednesday the Paris prosecutor.

These thirteen suspects were indicted as part of a judicial investigation opened Tuesday for "unauthorized intrusion into a historic site", "participation in a group formed for the preparation of violence or degrading", "concealment" , "Aggravated theft" and "damage to a property class committed in a meeting".

Among them, three were placed in pre-trial detention and ten others were left free with a measure of judicial control including prohibitions to appear in Paris and obligations of pointing. Investigations, under the authority of the investigating judge, will continue to identify other perpetrators of these facts, said the prosecutor.

412 people arrested in Paris
