Al Jazeera Net on Thursday on the site and on Al Jazeera on YouTube, a short documentary film entitled "The Last Visit".
The film deals with a real story of an Egyptian woman from the city of Abu Kabir in Sharkia province who died last November after an argument with a police officer in the Zagazig prison, which prevented her from visiting her only son who is serving a prison sentence after being accused of demonstrating without a permit.
The film, which will be presented in conjunction with Mother's Day, summarizes the suffering of the families of the detainees in Egypt's prisons since Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi's coup against President-elect Mohamed Morsi. The film is prepared by Ayman Gad and directed by Suha Ismail.
