The Mohammed Bin Zayed Award for the best Gulf teacher will be presented at the second edition of the award at the level of the Gulf States through the implementation of a series of awareness workshops targeting teachers in different locations.

The Higher Committee of the Award was keen to make a qualitative leap in the award through the promotion of its objectives and the various goals and continuous development through the introduction of new standards, namely to focus on linking initiatives with the goals of sustainable development, the role of the teacher in spreading the culture of artificial intelligence, In his state within the educational system, in addition to adopting the teacher for government initiatives, such as tolerance and happiness, and others.

The award, which covers the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), is based on five criteria that reflect the basic aspects that must be met in the teacher, which are the features of his professional career and achievements in which the award is considered. The best practices, and based on several criteria selected for the selection and evaluation of the educational competencies of the candidates, namely creativity and innovation and 20%, positive citizenship, loyalty and national belonging by 10%, sustainable development and learning 20%, and community and professional leadership by 10%, and finally excellence in achievement 40%.

Dr. Hamad Al-Darmaki, Secretary-General of the Award, stressed that the teams working in the award spare no effort to dedicate the best tracks in support of the objectives of the Award, which stemmed from the vision of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, To make education a locomotive for the advancement of the country, and to employ the various human and material resources, to include the education sectors with the best tools, methodologies and foundations that enhance teacher performance and drive it to creativity and innovation as the basis for the progress of education.

The award seeks to be unique in its various components and the use of modern electronic systems, and provides a special electronic system at the award site, including filling out the participation form, in order to facilitate the participation process.

Al-Darmaki said that the award was keen to form evaluation teams, composed of a group of experienced experts in the evaluation of educational prizes from different participating countries. He pointed out that the award has begun to implement several educational workshops in the participating countries, as well as a series of workshops through video communication, Put the educational material on the award site, in addition to answering all teacher inquiries, by e-mail of the prize.

He pointed out that the Higher Committee of the Award is keen to achieve the best practices and standards used in the global participation, and this is an important part of the message and the importance of the award, which is unique standards and objectives and accuracy.
