The Ministry of Health and Community Protection issued a circular to withdraw the "Hummer Ginseng & Coffee Candy" product from the state markets for containing an undisclosed chemical compound, "NorTaldalafil", which causes negative reactions in patients with heart disease, diabetes or altitude In the proportion of fat especially those who take drugs containing nitrate.

This was stated by Dr. Amin Hussein Al Amiri, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health Policy and Licenses and Chairman of the Higher Committee for Drug Alerting.
In this regard, Dr. Rokaya al-Bastaki, Director of the Department of Medicine at the Ministry, explained that the generalization of the withdrawal of this product was based on the report of its reference analysis laboratory, which proved that the product contains NorTaldalafil, a chemical that causes a severe reduction in blood pressure. Pointing out that the US Food and Drug Administration announced the seriousness of this chemical compound.

She pointed out that the circular addressed to the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, the Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority, the Federal Authority for Customs and the Food and Health Administration of Dubai Municipality was issued after the product was traded in the markets. It is not registered with the Department of Medicine at the Ministry of Health and Community Protection. It is a sweet coffee bean and tempts even children which may lead to serious complications if consumed by children.

The circular urged the concerned authorities to take the necessary measures to withdraw the product from the market and prevent its circulation and importation if available. He called for the need to resort to hospitals and doctors licensed by the ministry or local health authorities in the event of any symptoms of abnormal eating this product.
