Yuz Boy, the winner of the second season of "Nouvelle Ecole," Netflix's rap completion, is accused of rape by a 26-year-old woman. The complaint was filed last August. An investigation is currently underway under the direction of the Paris prosecutor's office. The rapper denies all the charges against him.

This is a very bad timing for Netflix, since the subscribers of the platform discovered the name of the winner of the second season of Nouvelle Ecole last Wednesday. A competition in which rappers compete, in song, with 100,000 euros to the key and which was won this year by a singer called Yuz Boy.

Events that would have occurred between 2020 and 2021

Yuz Boy is a 23-year-old rapper. And, according to our colleagues from BFMTV, he is the subject of a complaint for rape filed by a 26-year-old woman. It denounces facts (3 non-consensual relations) that would have occurred in 2020 and 2021. The complaint was filed last August. An investigation is currently underway under the direction of the Paris prosecutor's office. For his part, the rapper assured through his lawyer that he had "nothing to reproach himself", specifying that he discovered the existence of this complaint with this article published on the BFMTV website.

Contacted by BFMTV, a Netflix official explained that the platform was unaware until the final of the existence of this complaint.
