A 45-year-old police officer, convicted in September for rape by the Essonne Assize Court, was arrested on Monday. The police officer is the target of a complaint from his partner alleging “domestic violence which allegedly took place on the night of March 3 to 4” The officer is currently in judicial detention "pending his presentation to the investigating judge", according to the public prosecutor's office.
He was sentenced to 10 years of criminal imprisonment for rape, sexual assault and violence against three companions.
