A horrific fall of a circus performer from a great height... during a performance (video)
A circus performer fell from a height of more than 5 meters, while presenting a show, and hit the ground hard, amid shouts of panic from the audience.
And in the recent incident that took place in a circus in the city of Tampico, eastern Mexico, player Mia Gonzalez Soto escaped from a collar she was attached to, to fly in the air and suddenly fall to the ground.
After her fall, Mia appeared to lie motionless, and circus officials turned off the lights while her colleagues rushed to check on her.
According to "Sky News Arabia", the player was taken to a hospital in Tampico immediately, fortunately, she was not seriously injured, and she was later discharged from the hospital.
"Among our audience was a female paramedic who voluntarily provided her with first aid. We will be forever grateful to her," the circus management said in a statement.
"The fall was dramatic. However, there were no fractures or internal damage to Mia," she added.
According to local media, the circus show resumed as planned after the incident.
