The softest: Sweden, Germany

The last two countries to have restrictions in place are also those which have opted for the lightest constraints.

In Sweden, from January 7, you will have to show a negative test result for Covid-19 on arrival, regardless of your vaccination status.

But Swedish citizens and residents of the European Union will be exempt.

In Germany, passengers can simply perform a "rapid antigen test" to enter the territory.

The test 48 hours before departure: United States, France, Italy, Spain, Canada, Australia, Qatar, United Kingdom

There are some intricacies between the applications from these countries, but if you take a PCR test within 48 hours of leaving China and it is negative, that should be enough.

In this list, the three European countries also accept antigen tests, while the EU this week "strongly encouraged" its member states to impose screening carried out in China before the flight, and "encouraged" the Twenty-Seven to complete the negative test by “random tests” on arrival on European soil, which the United Kingdom has moreover implemented

For the United States, “a PCR test or an antigen self-test administered and supervised by an approved provider or a telemedicine service” is accepted, according to the American Centers for Disease Control.

A document proving that the passenger has recovered from the coronavirus in the 90 days preceding the flight is also valid.

Note that for the United States and Australia, passengers from Hong Kong and Macao are also concerned.

The little “bonus”: Israel, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Ghana, India

To enter India, your test must take less than 72 hours instead of 48. In South Korea and Ghana, the pre-flight test is combined with mandatory screening on arrival, which also applies to travelers arriving from Hong Kong and Macau in Korea.

Mandatory saliva test also upon arrival on the island of Taiwan for travelers from mainland China.

Israel requires a Covid test for all foreign passengers arriving from China, backed up by the establishment of a screening center to test volunteer arrivals.

Japan has opted for a mandatory test on arrival, with a seven-day quarantine in a designated establishment for positive cases, and will limit flights from China.

The border is closed: Morocco

Morocco has adopted the strictest measure: it purely and simply prohibits entry into its territory to all travelers from China, "regardless of their nationality".

And this since Tuesday “until further notice”, in order to “avoid a new wave of contamination in Morocco and all its consequences”, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
