American actress, screenwriter and director Kristen Stewart will chair the Berlin Film Festival jury, organizers announced on Friday.

“We are delighted to have attracted Kristen Stewart for this exceptional task.

“Young, on the rise and with an impressive body of work to her credit, Kristen Stewart is the perfect link between the United States and Europe,” add the two leaders of the festival, organized from February 16 to 26, 2023.

Kristen Stewart, 32, also made a short film in 2018, the year in which she sat on the Cannes Film Festival jury.

She is currently preparing her first feature film, the adaptation of American writer Lidia Yuknavitch's bestseller “The Chronology of Water”.
