"Apple has threatened to remove Twitter from its App Store, but they refuse to tell us why," said Elon Musk, who accuses Apple of censorship and abuse of dominant position.

Tim Cook had previously threatened to remove Twitter from the app store.

Elon Musk cries foul and invokes censorship.

The billionaire has promised to publish "Twitter files" on the "suppression of freedom of expression" soon, because "the public deserves to know what really happened".

Apple is not the only company to no longer want to buy ads on Twitter.
