Haro on bullfighting.

A poll recently carried out by YouGov for the HuffPost concludes that a majority of French people, 63%, would position themselves for the prohibition of this tradition.

Originally from Spain, bullfighting is also practiced in the south of France, in the departments of Gard and Hérault in particular, and during the famous festivals of Bayonne.

A text potentially examined on November 24 in the National Assembly

What about the political side?

According to the HuffPost, 65% of Nupe supporters are in favor of its ban, while this figure drops to 62% for those of the National Rally, 59% for those of Renaissance and 57% for those of the Les Républicains party.

Fairly similar results, which reveal a rejection throughout the political class.

On the front line for the ban on bullfighting, the rebellious and anti-species deputy Aymeric Caron is at the origin of a text which could be examined in the National Assembly on November 24th.

Could, because the subject only occupies the fourth position in the parliamentary niche of La France insoumise.

A place that would leave little chance for deputies to mobilize the time necessary for its examination.

Marine Le Pen, for the National Rally, would have left full freedom to her deputies to decide for or against the ban on bullfighting.
