ASEC Mimosas beat another Ivorian club, SC Gagnoa, 2-0 in the first leg of the Confederation Cup (C2) 2022-2023, on November 2.

The three DRC teams involved - Saint-Eloi Lupopo, TP Mazembe and DC Motema Pembe - won during this phase which pits the teams eliminated in the knockout stages of the Champions League against those qualified at the end of the knockout stages. of C2.
