What is the relationship with Elon Musk? .. "Twitter" reconciles Kanye West

Yeh has more than 30 million followers on Twitter

Rapper Kanye West's Twitter account, which had been suspended for posting anti-Semitic comments, is back in operation a day after billionaire Elon Musk took over the social media platform in a $44 billion deal.

West, now known as Yeh, was on Twitter and Meta Platforms earlier this month, and some of his posts, which were denounced by users as anti-Semitic, were removed.

Yeh, who has more than 30 million followers on Twitter, has sparked controversy in recent months by publicly severing partnerships with several major corporations and stinging other celebrities on social media.

On October 8, Musk tweeted, "Welcome back to Twitter, my friend!" when Yeh first posted on the platform two years ago after his Instagram account was restricted.

But Musk said Friday that he had no role in bringing Yeh's account back online, writing on Twitter: "They haven't consulted or notified me."

Musk, who describes himself as a free-lancer, took ownership of the company on Friday and said he wanted to reduce restrictions on content that can be posted on the influential social media platform.

He also stated that he would cancel the ban imposed by Twitter on former US President Donald Trump, whose account was removed after the attack on the US Capitol.

Yesterday, Trump said he was glad Twitter was in "sane hands."
