The technical malfunction that affected the “Facebook” and “Instagram’ applications - yesterday, Tuesday - raised widespread concern among users of social media platforms. The Down Detector website, which specializes in tracking website malfunctions, detected more than 500,000 malfunction reports from all over the world within an hour or two.

The “Networks” program monitored the interaction of tweeters with the incident that shook the virtual platforms. Some searched for the reasons for what happened and the lessons learned, while others turned to alternative platforms, including X (formerly Twitter).
