After reaching an agreement with the families of the shot camerawoman Halyna Hutchins, co-producer and leading actor Alec Baldwin plans to continue shooting the western Rust.

As the industry service Deadline.com reported on Wednesday, filming will not continue at the Bonanza Creek film ranch in the state of New Mexico.

Out of court settlement

Since the set on which Baldwin fatally injured the camerawoman a year ago during a rehearsal scene under still unclear circumstances with a shot from a revolver is fraught with sad memories for the filmmakers, the Western will be completed in California.

The fact that the producers still owe the authorities in New Mexico fines for violating safety regulations on the set of "Rust" is said to have played a role in the relocation of filming.

Three weeks ago it was announced that production company Rust Movie Productions LLC and Baldwin had settled out of court with Hutchins' husband Matthew following a civil wrongful death suit.

The 38-year-old lawyer is also involved as a producer in the continuation of filming planned for January
