An exceptional and delicate spectacle.

A magnolia of a rare species bloomed this weekend at the Arboretum des Grandes Bruyères, in Ingrannes (Loiret), near Orléans, reports France 3 Center Val de Loire.

The event is very rare: it is only the third flowering of this plant in seven years.

An exceptional collection of magnolias

With each flowering, the plant produces only one to two flowers.

“For how many more nights will it bloom?

One, two or three?

“Asks Marie Degaey, in charge of development of the Loire Valley arboretum, quoted by France 3.

The Arboretum of Ingrannes has the first national collection of magnolias, including various rare species, and many other plants difficult to observe elsewhere.

The place will be open until November 6, but to admire the magnolia delavayi, it will therefore be necessary to hurry.
