Guangdong strengthens wild plant protection and management and accelerates the construction of ex-situ protection system. The forestry, agriculture and rural areas, construction, Internet information, public security, market supervision and other departments collaborate to use greater joint efforts to crack down on illegal and criminal activities that destroy wild plant resources.
According to the latest statistics, there are currently 6,658 species of higher plants recorded in Guangdong. The "Notice" was jointly issued by 12 departments including the Guangdongs Provincial Forestry Bureau and Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.
