"The music of the

Big Blue

, it's funny, it's fun, it's cool," says Eric Serra.

Of all the soundtracks he composed for Luc Besson, this is not the one that impresses him the most (he prefers that of

Léon

), but the musician appreciates “the spontaneity, the lightness and the freshness”.

Grand Bleu

, as enveloping as the posters that lined the walls of teenagers' bedrooms at the end of the 1980s, sold more than four million CDs, a record for a film. French.

Eric Serra designed it with the idea of translating the sensations of snorkelers as well as possible.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the film in 2018, the composer had filled the Seine Musicale for two evenings in a row for memorable film concerts.

A tour was to follow in 2020, interrupted and postponed because of the Covid-19 and then because of "a small health concern".

Here it is again: 22 new dates from Wednesday September 14 in Nantes.
