On August 13, in a rice field in Wufu Village, Jiangbei Town, Changsha County, Hunan Province, villagers were working in front of a huge bust portrait of Yuan Longping, the father of hybrid rice.
The huge colorful rice field painting covers an area of more than 100 mu, with the participation of more than 300 local villagers and professionals, and took more than a month to complete to commemorate Yuan Longping.
