[HIGHLIGHTS] (Into China’s Rural Areas) Sanming’s Guifeng Village sparks tourism craze: poetry and distance

Guifeng Village was built during the Chunyou period of the Southern Song Dynasty. It has 39 ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

It is one of the ancient villages with the most complete preservation of ancient buildings in Fujian Province. The village has been rated as a "Chinese Historical and Cultural Village" and "National Ecological Village" It is a national 4A tourist attraction, the first batch of national rural tourism key villages, and the firstbatch of "Gold Medal Tourism Villages"
