Gunma Prefecture announced on the 9th that 2,569 people were newly infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture and one death was confirmed.
That's 205 fewer than last Tuesday's 2,774, and it's the second day in a row that the number has fallen below the same day of the previous week.
On the other hand, the prefecture withdrew a total of 10 people announced from the 29th to the 7th of last month.
The number of confirmed infections in the prefecture reached 154,814, of which 360 died.
