The Spanish Council of Ministers has approved a plan for energy conservation and energy management.

As part of the cost savings, public spaces and large commercial buildings will have to limit the use of air conditioning and heating.

Cooling is allowed within the limits not lower than +27 °С, and warming - not higher than +19 °С.

The new measures apply to shopping malls, restaurants, cinema and regular theaters, airports, railway stations.

In addition to the free use of air conditioners and batteries, shop windows will have to be abandoned after 22:00.

The new measures will be in effect until November 2023.

I wonder how it will be tracked?

Walking in raids with thermometers, simultaneously bypassing every drinking establishment and eatery?

So this is popularly called much more simply than the “decree on measures to ensure economic sustainability” - bar hopping.

It seems that nature once again (after covid restrictions) will be so cleansed that we will see the starry sky and animals marching through the cities even more often.

At the same time, the Minister of Environmental Transformations (God, what a name) proposed to transfer employees to remote work in order to save on electricity consumption by transport.

Strangely, compared to other EU countries, Spain is not so much dependent on Russian gas and oil, but at the same time agreed to reduce consumption by 7-8%.

On the one hand, in order to manage with energy only within the framework of the domestic economy, on the other hand, in order to “facilitate compliance with European obligations against the backdrop of the conflict in Ukraine.”

So I wonder what kind of obligations these are, such that no one voices, they are not registered anywhere, but they definitely exist, they are felt in the air, even cut with a knife.

It turns out that in order to maintain the general insanity around Ukraine and feed the internal hypocrisy and self-centeredness of the Zelensky couple (the cover of Vogue magazine has already been, it remains only to hand over the Nobel Peace Prize), you can sacrifice the comfort of your taxpayers and voters, at the same time jeopardizing the attractiveness of the region for investment.

By the way, the Prime Minister of Madrid has already spoken out against the proposals, saying that such measures “scare away tourists and bring darkness, poverty and sadness,” despite the supposedly overlapping pluses.

And it's better not to say.

Still, suffering really helps, prompts poetic and philosophical fabrications.

I am waiting for Spain, within the framework of the same “compliance with European obligations” and serving some invisible god, to switch to subsistence farming, refuse toilet paper and start sewing clothes from improvised materials.

Such measures, too, I am sure, will have a good effect on the emergence of modern Spanish thinkers.

Maybe this is the real motivation of the Spanish government - the development of modern art and literature?

Well, because how else to explain the introduction of such measures and, at the same time, complete inaction on the illegal marijuana plantations in the southeast of the country, which obviously affect both the consumption of electricity and its cutting down due to overvoltage.

Pathetics, and only.
