"I think it's time to reconsider our policy and measures towards Russia," RIA Novosti quoted Lipavsky as saying.
He noted that in his speech he would call for "thinking about what the new EU policy towards Russia should be."
It would be useful to know where he says it and why.
And the thing is that now the Czech Republic, according to the queue, “leads” the European Union for some time, on this occasion there was a meeting of the foreign ministers of the EU countries headed by Jan Lipavsky.
The gentlemen discussed mainly Ukraine and the sanctions that have been in place for five months.
And as if they were saying that it is time to tighten sanctions, although it is not very clear where to tighten them further.
Because, as the Czech newspaper Lidové noviny writes, “recent weeks have shown that the EU is already approaching the limits of its own capabilities if it wants to find a consensus on possible new steps against the Russian aggressor.
Last Friday, the European Commission still recommended a ban on the import of Russian gold.
However, further restrictions are probably not on the agenda, most likely, we are talking about clarifying the steps already taken.”
Wait a minute, gentlemen, we have already understood everything with gold, moreover, we have already experienced the exclusion of jewelry from the sanctions against Russian gold.
That is, gold is not allowed, but jewelry is allowed.

But again, all this fuss is unimportant.
The key idea here is "the limits of one's own capabilities."
That is, in reality, people do not understand what to do next, because literally everything that was undertaken earlier, one way or another, flew back like a boomerang.
Therefore, it remains to “clarify” the steps taken.
The Americans have already "specified" and excluded from the sanctions all positions that they themselves badly need.
And Europe, as it rested on the principle, sits.

Not daring to blame the main culprit of the problems - the United States, the German elites are trying to loudly discuss who is to blame for the energy crisis: Putin, Merkel, Biden, Scholz or Burbock.

But these are the problems of the big boys of Europe, to which the Czech Republic definitely does not belong, and therefore there is no such discussion in society.
And now the Czech Republic becomes the head of the EU for some time, and it should also have thoughts on how to punish Russia.

But here, according to Senka, a hat, according to relics and firs - on the scale of a powerful national thought, the Czechs did not think of anything else but to stop issuing visas and permits for the stay of Russian citizens in the Czech Republic until 2023.

By the way, it was Radio Liberty that told Soviet and Russian citizens in every program that the USSR deprived them of the main blessing of democracy - the right to free movement.

But at least he didn’t pretend to be the current Czech Republic, which is trying to lower its personal provincial tin curtain and dreams that other countries will join it, so that it would already be a real iron curtain.
And of course, it will be a completely democratic and freedom-loving curtain.
And with a nail on it will be scrawled: "Glory to the Heroes."
If you're worried about what all these people are doing and saying, don't worry.
Let them say and do what they want.
Because with their every word, with their every deed, it becomes clear that the West has been feeding the whole world for many decades, and us in particular, with fairy tales about freedom, democracy, market relations, and now it is dismantling all this in a rage of hatred for Russia.
Even an Austrian artist did not allow himself such a thing - to cancel the economic principles of capitalism in the name of victory over Russia.
Apparently, the current ones are quite stupid.

Or just shameless and arrogant, which is no better.
