This was reported in the official Telegram channel of the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre.
“People’s Artist of Russia Yuri Grigoriev, soloist of the Bolshoi Opera Company (1968-90), a wonderful artist and teacher, died at the age of 82, many of whose students became famous singers and now share our feelings,” the statement says.
The theater expressed deep condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
Earlier it was reported that People's Artist of Russia Sergei Sosnovsky died at the age of 67.
