The Guangdong Youwei Literary Award is another major award specially launched by the Guangdong literary community for the selection of literary works after the Guangdong Lu Xun Literary and Art Award (literary category). It is held every two years.
At the launching ceremony, representatives of the Guangdong Writers Association and the People's Government of Nanhai District, Foshan City signed the agreement, announcing that the award will be permanently settled in Nanhai, Foshan.
