This April, a family who evacuated from eastern Ukraine to Miyoshi City, Hiroshima Prefecture, boarded a tour boat and enjoyed traditional cormorant fishing.

Ten people, including the family of Irina Bwairo, who evacuated from Donetsk Oblast in eastern Ukraine to Miyoshi City, enjoyed cormorant fishing.



Irina and her friends visited the Basen River in Miyoshi City and boarded a sightseeing boat.



Then, Irina and his friends cheered when the cormorant controlled by the cormorant in the shape of a waist dives into the water and catches fish such as sweetfish.

Also, when a local tourist official explained about cormorant fishing, he listened to it with interest and enjoyed taking pictures with his smartphone.
