Shimane Prefecture announced on the 30th that it was confirmed that 25 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
It is the first time since January 12th that the number of announcements on the 1st has fallen below 50 in the prefecture.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections in Shimane Prefecture to 16,849.
