A 38-year-old defendant who had been accused of violating the Stimulant Drug Control Law and fled from a hospital in Saitama Prefecture on the 17th of this month was found in Tokyo on the night of the 19th, and was secured by the police.

The person who was secured was Ken Ueda (38), an unemployed defendant who has been charged with theft and violation of the Stimulant Drug Control Law.



According to the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office, Ueda was temporarily suspended from detention by the court to receive medical treatment for his illness and was admitted to a hospital in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture on the 17th of this month, but escaped from the hospital that afternoon. It means that it was done.



When the Tokyo District Public Prosecutor's Office was looking for his whereabouts in cooperation with the police, he was found in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo before 10:30 pm on the 19th, and his identity was secured.
