Nagasaki Prefecture and others announced on the 5th that it was newly confirmed that a total of 229 people in the prefecture were infected with the new coronavirus.
A total of 48,481 people were confirmed to be infected in Nagasaki Prefecture, excluding the crew of the cruise ship moored at Nagasaki Port.
Nagasaki Prefecture also announced that one person infected with the new corona has died.
The number of infected people who died in the prefecture was 123.
