Walid Tawfik: My fortune is $20 million... and I lost everything in the Lebanese banks!

The Lebanese singer, Walid Tawfik, revealed the value of his bank balance and his loss of money during his artistic career. He also talked about the secrets of his first marriage and the challenges he faced.

The artist Walid Tawfik confirmed that he lost all his private money in Lebanese banks, like other Lebanese artists, pointing out that the most important thing for him is the return of people's confidence in the Lebanese bank and other banks.

He added that he receives small amounts of money every period after he was informed that the money had not yet been lost, noting that the size of his fortune in banks is estimated at $20 million.

Tawfiq said: "This is almost all that I earned. The most important thing in Lebanon was the people's trust in the Lebanese Bank and the Lebanese banks.

He continued: "They say they are not missing, they say they are present, but they catch us every day, a small amount, and they say that we can take it afterwards, but only God Almighty knows."

During the meeting, the Lebanese artist talked about his personal life and the story of his marriage to beauty queen Georgina Rizk.

The artist added that he built his whole life on challenges, pointing out that his marriage in the beginning was customary for a short period, then he documented the marriage and traveled with his wife and officially announced his marriage to her.

He said: We did not want to, at first, due to certain circumstances, announcing the marriage... But after a short period of time, the marriage was confirmed, and we got married naturally.
