On March 9, as the cable crane fixed the last piece of steel box girder on the sling accurately and stably, the Lvzhijiang Bridge of Yunnan Yuxi-Chuxiong Expressway was successfully closed.
The Green Juice River Bridge is the first single-tower and single-span steel box girder suspension bridge in the history of world highway construction. At the same time, its main span of 780 meters and the tunnel anchor with the maximum inclination angle of 54 degrees have also set two world records.
The Green Juice River Bridge is a key control project of the Yuxi-Chuxiong Expressway, located at the junction of Yimen County and Shuangbai County.
After the completion of the project, the travel time on both sides of the bridge has been shortened from 1.5 hours to 2 minutes.
