"As a representative of the National People's Congress, I will not only tell the people of the country about the changes in my hometown and the happy life of the people, but also bring the 'good voices' from the National People's Congress and the National People's Congress back to my hometown, and work with the villagers to contribute to the development of my hometown."

In the 1950s, Kurban Turum, a peasant in Yutian County, Xinjiang, wanted to ride a donkey to Beijing many times to express his gratitude for turning over and liberating, and then the story of his trip was well known by other means.

As a descendant of Kurban Turum, such as Keyamu Maitisidi grew up listening to the story of his great-grandfather.

"When I was a child, I often listened to my grandmother's touching stories about my great-grandfather. I was proud of being a descendant of Kurban Turum. My grandmother said that my great-grandfather especially wanted someone in the family to join the army, so I secretly made up my mind, To be a good soldier."

At the end of 2012, Rukeyam Maitsaidi became a soldier as he wished and set foot on China's first aircraft carrier, the Liaoning.

After being discharged from the army, she chose to return to her hometown Yutian County to contribute her "power of youth" to the development of her hometown.

"Nowadays, Yutian County has undergone earth-shaking changes. The 'adobe houses' where the villagers live have become brick houses, every household has running water, the asphalt road leads directly to the door, and the TV network is also connected to the home. Everyone relies on With their own efforts to increase their income and become rich, some develop planting and breeding, some make money from business, and some have achieved employment in factories near their homes. With the car, the days are getting better day by day." Speaking of the changes in his hometown, Keyamu Maitisai smiled all over his face.

Yutian County, located in the southern part of Xinjiang, is adjacent to the largest desert in China, the Taklimakan Desert. Due to the constraints of the geographical environment, the traffic was blocked in the past, and the industry was difficult to thrive.

In recent years, Xinjiang has continued to increase investment in transportation infrastructure. Expressways and railways pass through Yutian County. By the end of 2020, Yutian Wanfang Airport will be opened to traffic, making local transportation conditions more perfect.

"After the opening of Yutian Wanfang Airport, local people can get on the plane at their doorstep, and they no longer have to drive more than 200 kilometers to Hetian City to catch a plane." Rukeyam Maiti Saidi said with emotion, now, she can also I flew from my home to Beijing to attend the National People's Congress.

Compared to when my great-grandfather wanted to ride a donkey to Beijing more than 60 years ago, the changes in his hometown have been turned upside down.

The increasingly perfect traffic conditions have also brought the development of Yutian County into the "fast lane".

In recent years, the local area has been dominated by characteristic agriculture, vigorously developing characteristic breeding and characteristic planting industries.

For example, Keyamu·Maitisaidi said that today, the planting area of characteristic crops mainly consisting of roses in Yutian County has reached 46,000 mu, and the planting area of characteristic forest fruits mainly including walnuts, red dates and grapes has reached 330,000 mu , The planting area of artificial red willow Dayun reached 168,000 mu.

The breeding industry, mainly chickens, geese, rabbits, pigeons, sheep, and cattle, has become the pillar industry of modern agriculture, and the prosperity of the industry has contributed to the revitalization of the countryside.
