Tochigi Prefecture and Utsunomiya City announced on March 1 that a total of 738 people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
On the other hand, the prefecture corrected that the outbreak report was withdrawn for one person announced on February 27.
With this, the total number of people confirmed to be infected in the prefecture is 46,234.
In addition, Tochigi Prefecture announced that three new patients have died, bringing the total number of deaths in the prefecture to 190.
