On January 25, the 23rd day of the twelfth lunar month of the Chinese lunar calendar, commonly known as "Little Year", the 2022 celebration of the Chinese New Year by foreign consular officials in Chongqing was held in Shancheng Lane, Yuzhong District, Chongqing, from 12 countries including Hungary, the Philippines, Belarus, and Japan. The consular officials in Chongqing experienced the interaction of special New Year's customs such as making dumplings, writing blessing characters and Spring Festival couplets, pasting window grilles, hanging lanterns, weaving hand strings, twisting twists, and sharing local flavors on New Year's Eve to welcome the Chinese New Year.
