At the instigation of his wife.. he burns his sister with gasoline to death, and the judiciary rejects the mother's request

Haja Wedad, the mother of the accused who set his sister on fire after inheritance disputes erupted in the Kurdish district of Dakahlia Governorate, Egypt, addressed a court judge during the trial of her son, who was responsible for killing his sister.

In her speech to the judge during his trial today, she said: I forgive him and come to forgive him, and the reason was a little upset over the inheritance. I paid him to burn his sister and our apartment.

And she added, during her appeal to the judge: "My daughter died and there is nothing left but my son. He will rely on him, and may God have mercy on my daughter's father. Her right is with our Lord."

During the trial, she told the judge: "I am forgiving and relinquish the civil lawsuit and myself that you have mercy on him and forgive him."

And earlier yesterday, the Mansoura Criminal Court, in Dakahlia, decided to punish the young man, Muhammad Zakaria Mahrez, with life imprisonment, for the accusation against him of killing his sister by setting her body on fire, and forcing him to pay criminal expenses.

As soon as the judge pronounced the life sentence, the mother collapsed and left the courtroom to go home, as she was hoping for a lenient sentence for her son, after she waived before the judge the right of her daughter - the victim - and asked him to pardon her accused son.

The mother recounted the basis of the dispute between them, explaining that it started 3 years ago, due to the sister’s participation in the inheritance of the house that their father left for them, noting that her son’s wife is the invisible hand that was setting fire to the brother’s heart, and added: His wife was the one who was doing it on his sister Until he sprayed it with gasoline and burned it.
