Hannah Gutierrez-Reed still refuses to take responsibility for the drama on the set of
Rust
.
While her role in Halyna Hutchins' death is still under investigation by the New Mexico police, the western gunsmith has decided to sue the man who supplied her with the ammunition with which she loaded the gun Alec Baldwin was holding that accidentally killed the cinematographer.
In a series of legal documents relayed by ET Online, the young woman asserts that Seth Kenney, boss of PDQ Arms and Prop who sold her the ammunition supposed to be fictitious, "distributed and sold ammunition accessories which presented an unreasonable risk of injury without warning, risks that could have been avoided had they been disclosed ”.
Seth Kenney is said to have "distributed to
Rust
production boxes of ammunition which were supposed to be dummy, but which contained a mixture of dummy ammunition and live ammunition."
Impossible accident
Allegations that the person has already denied during his appearance on the
Good Morning America
show last month.
At the time, Seth Kenney had stated very clearly that it was "impossible" that the ammunition responsible for the death of Halyna Hutchins "came from PDQ or from me personally".
In her complaint, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed specifies that a few days before the fatal incident, the person in charge of the accessories would have accidentally fired with a loaded weapon in the direction of the feet of the gunsmith.
A statement that gives credit to Alec Baldwin's statements.
The actor has indeed assured that he had never pressed the trigger.
